EDITORIAL

This Volume 41 of Chemical Engineering Transactions, publishes thematic papers on on Electrochemical Engineering.
The papers included into this volume deal with "current electrochemistry: the potential for a challenging future" and aim to point out the importance of Electrochemistry in offering solutions to the current technological and environmental problems, to highlight its interdisciplinary character and to emphasize the links between fundamental and applied aspects.
This book provides an opportunity to enhance communication between academics, researchers and industry.
