How to get to Lido di Venezia

 

Arriving by plane: International Airport Marco Polo

The international airport Marco Polo is situated in Tessera, 12 Km by car and 10 Km by motorboat from Venezia. It's connected to Venice and to Railway Station of Mestre.

From Airport to Venice by car or bus:

Public transportations:
Service of pubblic bus ACTV or ATVO for Piazzale Roma:
ACTV - Tickets 0.77 Euro valid on all navigation lines for sixty minutes from the validation time. Passengers can make unlimited journeys on all inner lines.-10 single ticket carnet 7.23 Euro; a book of ten single tickets which must be validated before use and shown together with the matrix (last ticket of the book). Carnet tickets are available from ACTV authorised sellers and ACTV ticket offices in P.Roma, Calle dei Fuseri and Lido.

ATVO 2.58 Euro Valid for one single journey.It will take roughly 30 minutes.

Private transportations:
Private car-taxi. Price about 15,50 Euro.

When you arrive at Piazzale Roma you can take the motorboat.

From Airport to Venice by motorboat:

Public transportations:
ALILAGUNA: Airport - Venice Alilaguna is the direct passenger waterbus service between Venice and its airport.
Airport-Venice (S.M.Elisabetta Lido): Ticket 9,5 Euro, you can buy it directly on board without any supplement.
It will take roughly 40 minutes.

Private transportations:
Private water-taxi. Price about 85 Euro.
