ABOUT ESSEE
The Working party on Electrochemical Engineering of the European Federation
of Chemical Engineering promotes knowledge, applications and networking in the
field of electrochemical engineering and applied electrochemistry.
Electrochemical
Engineering (EE) overlaps many areas of science such as chemical engineering,
chemistry, material sciences and mechanical and electrical engineering. Besides
traditional applications such as chemical and electronics manufacturing or corrosion,
EE is the key technology for energy transition and sustainability including
energy storage, hybrid and electric vehicles, hydrogen production and use, electrification
of processes. e.INS - Ecosystem of Innovation for Next generation Sardinia is
a global program to strengthen the link between business and science, mitigate
the social impacts and increase the level of territorial inclusion.
It is designed
to support innovation processes and promote their dissemination, facilitate
the transfer of technologies to the production system, involve local communities
in the challenges of sustainable innovation and guide the territory towards
a truly knowledge-based economy.
