FEX23 TOPICS
The Conference technical program is structured in sessions, which will be
held over three days.
The Conference topics will be treated in invited plenary lectures and selected
lecture presentations.
We are also very pleased to announce that we are organizing two experimental
sections, with the possibility to attend to:
1) a lab-scale demonstration involving fires and explosions (see Plenary ELECTROSTATIC
RISK RELATED TO EXPLOSIVE VAPORS OR GAS ATMOSPHERE on Monday 8:50-9:50);
2) a lab-scale demonstration on how to perform a safe calorimetric scale-up
of chemical reactors subjected to runaway (see Plenary SAFE SCALE UP CALORIMETRIC
STRATEGIES AVOIDING DANGEROUS PRESSURIZATION AND EXPLOSIONS OF CHEMICAL REACTORS
on Tuesday 9:50-10:50).
The major aim of FEx23 is to review the latest development, needs and issues
on the thematic areas covered in general by emerging references of Fire and
Explosion Safety and Environment Protection.
