WELCOMES TO NINE2021

Following the three previous editions (2016, 2017 and 2019), NINE, the International Conference on Nanotechnology based INnovative applications for the Environment, will be back in 2021.

NINE 2021 aims at presenting recent scientific and technical advances in the field of nanotechnology application to the environment protection and sustainable energy production, from materials to devices, to processes, including a lecture on the next EU framework programme 2021-2027.
NINE 2021 edition will be enriched with 2 special sessions, devoted respectively to young scientists and young start-up companies. A third specific forum will collect nanotechnology contributions to the fight against SARS-CoVs and COVID-19, introduced by a key lecture on “Responsible research and innovation”.

The Conference, organized by the Italian Association of Chemical Engineering (AIDIC) in collaboration with the Italian Chemical Society (SCI), the University of Salerno, the Centre NANOMATES, and the SME Narrando, will be held virtually. Moreover, it will rely on the continuous support of the AIDIC Working Group on Chemical Nanotechnologies.

NINE 2021 welcomes contributions from researchers and engineers from academic and research institutions, as well as from industry, presenting recent advances and new approaches on the application of nanotechnologies to the environment and energy. Oral and poster sessions will take place, and each oral session will be introduced by keynote speakers.

All the accepted papers presented at the Conference will be published  on Chemical Engineering Transactions. The Journal is valued by ISBN & ISSN numbers, DOI number and Google Scholar
