CONFERENCE AWARDS

Poster Presentation Award

Open to all conference participants

The Best Poster Presentation Award is open to all conference participants. During the poster session, a committee will evaluate the works on display.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Clarity of presentation
  • Scientific quality
  • Innovative impact
  • Ability to synthesise

The award will be given to the contribution that best combines scientific rigour and effective communication, highlighting the importance of disseminating research results.

Award

A certificate will be given to all authors of the best poster during the conference Closing Session.

Best Short Presentation Award

5-minute presentation

The Best Short Presentation Award will be presented to the author of the best 5-minute presentation, delivered during one or two sessions, as indicated in the detailed conference programme.

The selection will be carried out by a dedicated evaluation committee appointed by the conference co-chairs.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Clarity of presentation
  • Effectiveness of communication
  • Coherence with the conference topics

Award

The winner will be announced during the conference Closing Session and will receive a free registration for the next NINE Conference.

Innovative Project Award

PhD students and young Post-Doc researchers

The Best Innovative Project Award is reserved for PhD students and young Post-Doc researchers participating in the conference.

Candidates will be asked to present their idea through a short elevator pitch in the form of a video, no longer than three minutes, to be sent to the evaluation committee coordinated by AIDIC Giovani.

Proposals will be evaluated outside the conference sessions.

  • Scientific soundness
  • Application potential

This award aims to encourage the next generation of researchers and give visibility to ideas that can generate innovation and impact in both industrial and social contexts.

Award

The winner will be announced during the conference Closing Session and will receive a certificate and a voucher for free registration to an AIDIC conference taking place within 12 months of the award.
