VIRTUAL SYMPOSIUM

STRUCTURE & CONTENT
The Symposium will contain 5 different areas:
 
LIBRARY

 

 All the presentations, divided in Plenary, Lecture and Poster are here available, at any time 24 hours a day for the whole duration of the Symposium. Each participant can see the pdf file of the paper as it is published into the proceedings, the mp4 file of the presentation, and the pdf file of the poster in case of posters. He/she may access to a Questions & Answers area where he/she can write questions and receive answers as a text. All the Questions and Answers are visible to all the participants.
ROOMS

 

The Symposium will be divided into five rooms "Michelangelo", "Mosè", "Sistina" ,"Laurentiana" and "Posters".
The idea is to show the whole content of the Symposium (with pre-recorded material) as it would be in the real case.
In few words the STREAMING OF THE SYMPOSIUM.
So at 8:30 of Monday in room Michelangelo, you may see the (recorded) opening session, the speech of the guests, followed by the plenary and the successive lectures of the day, in sequence in time. In practice from 8:30 to 18:40 the Symposium is shown ( with pre-recorded material) as it would streamin the real program.
This is repeated in the remaining rooms. You may enter the rooms you wish and see what it is happening in that real moment.
Each participant may use the Q&A area for writing questions at each presentation. The Authors are solicited for their written answers.
It is easy to predict that probably very few people will be interested to sit in front of their screen for 9 hours and see the whole event. However, this feature provides a "live" effect that helps the participant to be more attracted by the event and more actively participate to the remaining activities.
DESK

 

 Here we report the communications from WP, you may download brochures, leaflets, EURECHA and whatever is useful to the knowledge of the Symposium. You may here upload general comments and evaluations on the event.
Also the presentation of ESCASPE31 and all the relevant information will be available here.
We will report here all the statistics of the event, including data on Q&A, Presentation evaluations etc. etc..
BUFFET

 

In this area, each participant may have live chat (at least audio, but probably also video) in a one to one conversation. The possibility to have meetings with more than two person is investigated.
In practice when you enter this area you will inform all the participants that you are present and available for conversation. You will see all the participants (here their photo will play a key role) and you may decide with whom you may chat. The subject of the chat is free and open to the participant wishes.

This area is open 24hours a day for the whole symposium time.

ACCOMPANYING PERSON

 

In this area, each participant may have his/her guide to visit the most interesting part of the city: Architecture, Museums, Fine arts...
He/She may discover interesting curiosities ( as: The Liberty Staute has been copied from the Cathedral facade) or visit famous Fashion Collection and shops, and finally to have receipts and description of some typical local foods..

This area is open 24hours a day for the whole symposium time.

 

 
ESCAPE30 is included into the Framework "VIRVIS" (owned by AIDIC) propely created for the Virtual Presentation of Conferences in a proprietary Web Private Server.
